Celebrating Our First Diwali Fundraiser for Brown Ballers

This Diwali, we’re lighting up more than just candles – we’re igniting a movement! It’s with great excitement that I invite you to the first-ever Brown Ballers Fundraising Gala. This event is not just a celebration of culture and community but a significant milestone in our mission to empower South Asian athletes worldwide.

Event Details:

  • Date: October 26th, 2024

  • Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Location: Guru Kitchen + Bar Ice District, 10111 104 Ave NW, Edmonton Tower, Edmonton, AB T5J 4X1

For us at Brown Ballers, this event is deeply personal. While our platform reaches over 5 million people each month through social media, this gala marks our first grassroots initiative within the community. We’re kicking off this journey with the hopes of creating lasting impact for athletes who often don’t get the recognition they deserve.

What is Brown Ballers?

Brown Ballers is more than a media platform. We’re a movement dedicated to sharing the incredible stories and achievements of South Asian athletes. From cricketers to basketball players and football stars, we highlight their journeys to inspire the next generation. Our mission? To open doors, foster connections, and build a thriving community of athletes who know they belong.

Why This Event Matters

This Diwali Gala is a celebration of unity, culture, and the beginning of a larger journey. We’re raising funds to support future athletes through scholarships, camps, and other grassroots initiatives. But beyond that, we’re coming together to show that South Asian athletes have a place on the global stage, and we’re here to support them every step of the way.

How You Can Be Part of It:

  • Buy Tickets: Secure your spot at our gala by purchasing tickets here.

  • Spread the Word: Share our mission with your friends, family, and anyone who believes in empowering the next generation.

  • Donate: Can’t make it to the event? You can still make an impact by donating here.

What to Expect:

We’ve lined up a night filled with good food, vibrant music, and inspiring moments. From the live DJ to the silent auction offering one-of-a-kind experiences, we’ve crafted an unforgettable experience for all who attend. It’s more than just a gala – it’s a chance to connect with like-minded people and celebrate a cause we all believe in.

We’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve done so far, but there’s still so much more to accomplish. Your presence at this gala would mean the world to us as we continue to grow, inspire, and uplift athletes across the globe.

A Special Thank You

We wouldn’t be here without the support of the amazing Brown Ballers community. Thank you for believing in our mission and being part of this incredible journey. I hope to see you on October 26th as we celebrate Diwali, South Asian culture, and the incredible future of Brown Ballers athletes.
