Our first-ever South Asian Heritage Night!

On July 5th in Edmonton, Alberta we partnered with professional basketball team the Edmonton Stingers to host a memorable night. We brought together the South Asian community to celebrate our culture and for others to enjoy music, food, and performances. This is the first of many events that Brown Ballers will host around the world.

Why does this matter?

We had hundreds of people in the arena wearing our custom-designed South Asian Night tees! These tees were designed by local south asian artist Rahmaan Hameed. All the proceeds of the sales went to our non-profit!

This was the first time Canada’s pro basketball league and a professional sports team in Edmonton hosted a South Asian night, EVER! We also had a SOLD OUT ARENA and the game was nationally broadcasted on TSN!

We had full support from our sponsors, the city and even the mayor of Edmonton!

World renowned DJ Scammy D provided the entertainment and music throughout the game and night.

The Canadian national anthem was sung by local South Asian music artist Anthony Prakash.

An incredible all female half time performance by the Punjabi Folk Dance Academy.
