BROWN BALLERS ANNOUNCE ARSALAN JAMIL AS NEW HEAD COACH
NEW YORK – Brown Ballers is excited to announce the appointment of Arsalan Jamil as the organization's new Head Coach. Jamil, a seasoned basketball mind and assistant coach with the Toronto Raptors’ NBA G League affiliate, Raptors 905, brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success to the team.
This milestone marks a significant step forward for Brown Ballers as the organization continues its mission to empower South Asian athletes to achieve their full potential.
"Arsalan’s background with the Raptors 905 and his deep understanding of what it means to be an underdog aligned perfectly with our vision," said Gautam Kapur, Team President of Brown Ballers. "His passion for empowering players made him the ideal candidate to lead this team,” said Robbie Sihota, General Manager of Brown Ballers.
Arsalan has spent seven seasons with the NBA G League Raptors 905, making him the longest-tenured coach on staff. During his tenure, Jamil worked with some of the brightest prospects in the NBA, contributing to their development and shaping a winning culture. His experience in fostering talent and building cohesive teams will be pivotal as Brown Ballers embarks on the 2024-25 season.

Under Jamil’s leadership, Brown Ballers will return for their fourth consecutive year to compete in The Basketball Tournament in July 2025, a $1 million, winner-take-all competition broadcast on FOX Sports.
