LOS ANGELES – Brown Ballers today unveiled a dynamic new leadership team for their newly launched soccer team , Brown Ballers FC, as it prepares to make its mark at The Soccer Tournament (TST)—a $1 million, winner-take-all showcase. Our very first Head Coach will be Amrik Hare, academy coach at Newcastle United. He is an immensely experienced coach, and will bring the quality and organization that comes with working in an academy within the English Premier League.
The Soccer Tournament (TST) is a high-stakes, 7v7, knockout-style soccer competition featuring elite teams from across the globe. Modeled after the popular basketball equivalent, The Basketball Tournament (TBT), it offers a $1 million, winner-take-all prize. TST’s unique format includes shorter matches, smaller fields, and a fast-paced style of play, creating an environment where every goal and every possession counts.
Parus Nischal will serve as General Manager- he is the Founder and CEO of Nischal Sports Group, focusing on the development and representation of underrecognized talent. “This will be a huge opportunity for a lot of players to show who they are, and what they can do. Let’s get to work!” said Nischal. He will be supported by Zohaib Rashid, a sports editor known for his advocacy work on British South Asian athletes as the founder of DesiBallers.
Brown Ballers FC is actively fundraising $50,000 USD to support the team’s participation in the June 2025 tournament. These funds will be allocated to cover essential expenses such as athlete travel, uniforms, accommodations, and training camp.
